Mesin ini terutama digunakan untuk menguji daya tahan latch action dan mekanisme deadbolt. Alat uji mampu memutar kunci, memasukkan dan menarik kunci dari kunci. Kunci dan gerendel dipasang pada perlengkapan yang sesuai, kemudian jalankan "kunci bergerak dari posisi tidak terkunci ke posisi terkunci dan kembali ke siklus uji tidak terkunci".
